Biography[]
Alfred Nobel and his invention were briefly noted in the margins of a British intelligence document, saying that it would take "Mr. Nobel's best" to move Norway and Sweden out of their neutrality.[1]
Historical Notes[]
Alfred Nobel lived and worked at various times in Sweden, the United States of America, England, Germany, France, and Italy. He moved to Italy after the French accused him of treason for selling Ballistite to the Italians, and he there died. In his will, he left his wealth to fund the Nobel Prizes.
