"Faction-Focused Fiction" is a set of categories that help people find stories about their favorite faction(s) in the game. The definition of "Faction-Focused" is intentionally broad, but can best be summed up by "likely to be of interest to someone who enjoys reading stories about that faction."
- Fiction written from the perspective of members of a given faction will generally qualify: A Monster in the Sky belongs in both Category:Japan-focused Fiction and Category:Russia-focused Fiction: the point of view switches back and forth between the two factions. Last Flight of the Swan of the East belongs solely in Category:German-focused Fiction: while multiple nations appear, we do not see their perspectives, and they are definitely "supporting characters".
- The point of view of a given faction is not essential if the work involves them significantly in other ways: Steel, Bamboo, and Rice Paper is from a Japanese perspective, but it tells us a lot about the USA at that time, so it is Category:America-focused Fiction. Likewise, Rendezvous in Rio qualifies for Category:Brazil-focused Fiction.
