The Skaggerak, a strait running between the southeast coast of Norway, the southwest coast of Sweden, and the Jutland peninsula of Denmark, connects the North Sea to the Kattegat, and thus the Baltic Sea. It is a site of frequent conflict between the Kaiserliche Luftmarine and the Russian Imperial Fleet. It is also the location of the recent defeat of the Royal Navy at the hands of the Germans.

This territory is of great importance to the Germans, Russians, Dutch, Norwegians and Swedes, who all maintain a leviathan presence in the area.
